Ethan, not everyone thinks you are some 40-something Stevie Stalker.

i dont' think he's 40 I saw him at the youngstown concert, but didn't get to go talk to him because I was across the parking lot and he walked in with his family and i lost him.

and what was wrong with my post earlier? I was really happy for him. matter of fact, he PMed me earlier, and I asked for demos of his.

This I don't know. But I do chuckle at the formula:

1. New thread started by Ethan. Really long intro post explaining some of kind of problem and request for advice or asking a question.

2. Lots of people come in, express good thoughts, answer the questions, try to engage Ethan, offer advice.

3. A day or so later, Ethan comes back, makes one post saying things are better and then posts a

4. Next day, a new thread is started.

Here's a little reminder for you all. Human beings posessing penises tend to be complete morons. In general, the young male mentality is "hit it and quit it." You know, sometimes, that never changes. It's written in the ****in' bible. So, questioning this and complaining about it is basically beating a dead horse. Girls, if you want a romantic, considerate guy, you better look for a guy who is at least 20 years older than you. Guys, if you want a girl who will appreciate you sweeping her off her feet, look for some middle-aged broad with 500 cats and a hosecoat. Etc.

That being said, get your kicks while you're young. Have fun. Learn from your mistakes. Most of all, DO NOT let a relationship - your own, or someone else's - or lack there of tie you down. Wait until you're at the point where you're starting to get old and fat and then try and find someone to love and cherish and blah blah blah until you're dead. By then, getting stoned and shellacked and bedding random people will have lost it's charm, and romance and longevity will be more appealing to you. But you dudes & dudettes are hella young - there's no reason whatsoever you should be bummed out about being single. Have fun, for ****'s sake! It's not like it was a hundred years ago, when a chick would be considered an old maid if she was 18 and single. Christ almighty.

i don't know if it's because it's early, but this threw my elusive, wheezing smoker laugh into full-effect.

i also don't know if getting stoned, shellacked, (well, generally polluted in the full sense of the word) and bedding random people has lost its charm for me, but i have cut that sequence of events out, and let me tell ya.. life is so much more boring! (not that drunk sex isn't boring itself many times. )

i guess it's a good thing to want to be decent and pure... but some young girls just want to party. i did.. and you would not believe the ridiculous stories, and a lot of it has bitten me in the ass.. but i wouldn't go back and change any of it.

Well that would be because I had been too busy to sift through the whole thread, and make individual comments as they've come up because I have been hella busy with school.

I agree with a lot of this post. You shouldn't WANT to be tied down when you are young. Being young is about being wild, trying everything, finding out what you like and dont like. I didnt get into a "serious" relationship until I was in my thirties. I loved my teens and twenties - I had a blast!!
And I still am....

^^^Yeah, I was in longterm relationships throughout my 20's. I don't regret them at all, but now that I'm not in them and I'm much older, I have trouble figuring out who I am, what I like/don't like etc. because I didn't explore when I was young.

Oh, gosh...everyone says this, but I've never wanted to be wild. I've always been very low-energy. I hated my teens and 20s. They were stupid - I was stupid. I did stupid things; I trusted people who shouldn't have been trusted and I got into a lot of trouble because of it. I'd never go back to being 15, or even 22 because I cannot imagine wanting to be that idiotic ever again. I'm 28 and I feel like I'm just barely starting to crawl out of it now...

THANK YOU

I dont want to be wild, I hate my teens, I dont feel like im a part of anything at my school, none of the guys even want anything to do with me, that is if i was interested in the first place in any of them, Jr High and High School havent been 'the best time of my life' because im simply not like everyone else. Maybe In college Ill agree with the two previous posters here about wanting to let loose, but now Im just trying to get my education..

and I would go out with a guy 20+ years older than me, but my mom wont let me
