Nah, I don't agree. I stood at the stage and the entire first eight rows on the sides were filled with empty seats. The whole second row, on both the left and right side of Center, was empty. Until people moved up into those seats from their ticketed seat. i was shocked at how many seats around me were empty.....especially close seats. The lawn was about 1/2 full........,,, comparing it to the Mac show in 2004 it looked empty.
Those numbers for Jones Beach are horrible. I know the weather was a factor but it was the only New York City show. Not good. The tour seems to be doing about average overall. If the promotor would have booked her in smaller venues, she would have sell outs.

Well that was Orchestra. My sister was in section 201 and my friends were in 302. From up there they said it was completely full. I was in 104 and I agree with you. To tell you the truth. People left after Chris Isaak's set and some left during Stevie's first song. I think that if we had cheaper ticket prices we could have seen a sell out in PNC and the Beach. She sold out both these places in 01 with cheaper ticket prices.
The Beach isn't NYC. She should be playing in the city. She could easily sell out two nights at Radio City or four nights at the Beacon. |

On a Friday night or a Saturday night, the transit system in question stays open until 3 a.m., which makes a huge difference. Plus, you're not getting out of work and trying to zoom down to a venue that doesn't have the infrastructure to support the zoom zoom.

Here's 5 more results of attendance at the 'Crystal Visions' tour, and the first sellout show is in this batch! So far, I've posted sales figures for about 22 of her dates on this tour,i think. Any shows i've been sent stats for are all located in this thread, which is why i'm keeping this batch here, thus bumping this thread back to Page One from Page Three, which sometimes is frowned upon amongst Ledgies, but it seemed most logical to me to keep it all in one place...

Those numbers aren't that bad. I was told that 12k showed up for Mansfield and that 10k tickets were sold.

I know this is old but you're right. The upgrading was 2 years ago with Henley...
