I think with out all those "babies" - the song is better. And, it contains beautiful guitar work by LB.

I think in terms of her Fleetwood Mac material, Tusk and Mirage were her best moments with the band. WISYA...no! I think I've played it...twice..and I don't like it. I never liked it. It's the only song that Stevie did with the mac that I don't like.

You need to listen again...and HEAR and FEEL- You may not like it but you must relate to the intensity and the feeling.., or you are not even trying
Listen grasshopper...there is much to learn from the Stevie/Lindsey edge

The song just irritates me. Her vocals are appalling, it's annoyingly repetitive and totally boring. I love the lyrics and sentiment behind the song but that doesn't mean I have to listen to it.

Maybe I've given this too much thought, but I never get tired of this song. Lindsey's unscripted part at the end kills me every time.

ITA. And you reminded me that I haven't listened to this song in awhile - something must be a matter with me!

Love the song..cannot get past the ravished vocal.
You have to remember - that was the first FM Album in YEARS and
to hear her sing in that voice was shocking to say the least!

Love WISYA, it moves me and I never tire of it. It is melancholy, but in a bittersweet way.

this is exactly how i feel about it. the words and melody are just heartbreaking - and i love sad more than anything. but the vocal, and all the whassamatterbabies just kill the mood of it for me. i'd love to hear her revive this one. would love to hear her sing this today - and maybe lose batb for her closer...

And for me as well, it's Lindsey's part at the end that really gets me!!

It's the lyric change from "When I see you" to "If I see you" that's so tragic. I wonder whose idea that was, Stevie's or Lindsey's?

I think this alternate mix is better than the album version, though; the way the voices blend at the end and kind of answer each other just fits the whole thing better and brings out that sadness, in my opinion.
