Turning Stone (Verona) Pics

I had an 8th row seat. Security was great. They let alot of us stand by the stage and wait to go to the stage for Edge in front of all the comped duds! Even half way through the song there was plenty of room at the stage.

I knew the first 5 rows were ALL comped. Not only did they all sit for the slower songs, but 97% also sat for Sorcerer and I Need to Know!

This was the first time I've touched Stevie's hand since Behind The Mask...

Set was the same. No Fall From Grace. Vanessa Carlton did not open. Show started at 8:15 and ended at 10pm.

If you get to the stage, stand in front of Lori. She is a riot. We had major eye contact and were singing Edge to each other. It was so great!!!

I haven't seen Stevie in ten years since the Dance tour and boy what a wonderful night it was last night at the Turning Stone Casino! Yes no opener~ very surprised about that(never been to a show w/ no opener)~ she came right out and was so beautiful! She looked happy and sounded great~ truly in great form ~surprisingly better at 59 than in other years I've seen her! We had 7th row dead center~ She literally was directly in front of us~ great seats and I stood for most of the songs~ I felt like I had direct contact with her for a lot of the songs~ and felt like she was singing them right to us as we stood dancing away the first half of the show~ She looked so happy to see us crazy ones who were really into it! But yes there were some old fogies who just wanted to sit and seemed a little annoyed at those of us who were enjoying ourselves! I'm surprised she didn't sing anything extra considering there was no opener and she came out at 8:15, and she didn't sing Fall from Grace!!! Enchanted was 2nd and Dreams was like 5th or 6th~
All her outfits were stunning~ She looked a lot thinner than other years I've seen her~ Her boots were on and she didn't seem to be bothered by her knee at all~ she did a nice Stand back kick~( as we all know cause she seems to be so rehearsed and do the same thing at each show nowadays)! She did this cool thing with Waddy during the end of GDW( not just the wings w/ Waddy but some other great illusionary effect w/ her shawl)!!! Landslide was a killer~ she was teary eyed as lots sang along~ wiping her eyes at the end.
I was taking pics in front of security all night~ they said nothing though cameras were supposed to be restricted! They didn't even check when we went in!
Security tried to tell us at the drum intro to Edge that we couldn't go up and stay~ to just hand her "our presentation then leave"~ I was like whatever~ when Waddy started we just walked right past the guard without eye contact and went~ and stayed! Lots went up for Edge but not as many as in other years I've seen her~ it was nice cause there was no pushing, which was good because my 9 year old came up w/ me to hand her flowers! Stevie was so cute to come up and look at my daughter as if to say "AW ~How sweet" She made this cute gesture towards her~ my daughter and I got to shake her hand and made eye contact with Lori as well who waved to us at one point during EO17.This made Rylynn's evening!
In '94 I gave Stevie's tour manager a shawl before the show and she wore it~ it was one of my best Stevie experiences ever~ Last night I attempted the same thing but she didn't wear it ~ oh well~ I'm sure she got it
and at least we got to hand her the flowers and tell her we loved her during Edge!
What an awesome night! Stevie was beautiful and amazing~ hopefully soon I'll get some pictures posted!
I'm jealous of those who have yet to see her~ Have fun~ I know you will. Sorry its over~

You mean Lori's flower? That flower was just on her mic~ it appears to be in Lori's hand in the pic but it was just the one on her mic~ all the girls had one~

I swear Stevie hasn't looked this good during a tour in...well, I don't know. I hate I'm missing out on this tour.

Hey, you! Doing good! What a great show last night. It was only half the distance of Mansfield, so I opted for it. I was thinking of you guys, too that night. I saw your pics. They are awesome!

Turning Stone is gonna be the hardest place to get tix, but the security is very lax.... so far.

I have most of Landslide in video clips showing the whole backdrop. I'm working on uploading them now.

I was the guy standing right next to you waiting to go to the stage. I heard the guy say that to you and I was like wtf? Presentation? LOL Then the white shirt security dude came by and said "What the hell is everyone standing around here for? Go back to your seats!" LOL! I didn't even turn around to look at him. I just got closer to our to security buds.
