And you never talked to anyone about the bass line. All you did was become a sarcastic bitch when people replied to your thread. But you know what? I don't care. I'll even make a bulletin for you, asking for someone to pleeeeease record and post the Angel bass line. ![]() |

I don't appreciate you calling me a bitch and an asshole for no reason, or just because your friend thought I was one. And I'd also like to point out the fact that you calling me names is much worse than any joking sarcasm (once again, I included laughing and wavies) that I used. Especially for the fact that my intent was a joke, while your intent was to call me names. And I don't need a goddamned bulletin made for me. No one knows the bass line, and it's fine. I just reviewed the FAQ, and there is nothing in there about moderators being able to call people names whenever they want. If I missed it, feel free to point it out to me. It is one thing for Hayley, who always pops out of nowhere for no reason to misinterpret what I say and get mad about it, or just to call me names in general - to insult me. I don't like it, but I expect it, as I have noted it is a regular occurrence. It is quite another for a moderator to do so, especially with no provocation. I don't appreciate it, and it is wrong, and I will complain about it. I still like FM, and like to talk about FM, and don't think I should have to tolerate a moderator calling me names on a board about FM. I also recall recently you using profanity and insults towards another board members when it was not warranted. Weren't some people recently all up in arms about what they considered inappropriate and selective and unnecessary moderator behavior? I consider what you are doing here inappropriate, very selective, and unnecessary moderator behavior. I have read a million sarcastic remarks this month, many without laughies, and not seen word one from you. Perhaps it was your friends who were perpetrating, I really don't know. I do find it odd that you chose to speak up here, about my joking post. With name calling. As an aside, not to do with Ryan as a mod, I wonder why Hayley doesn't have me on ignore. By her own admission, she doesn't care about FM, doesn't care about talking about them, rarely posts, but readily comes out of near non postage just to call me names or berate me in some conversation she has previously had no involvment in, and often, if not always, misinterpreting my motives and words. I also wonder why she thinks it is a good idea, and logical, to point out how rude I am, when she herself has never been anything but rude to me, and some other people. You know, just wondering.

It would still be pretty cool to have it played on guitar. I mean, if you can really hear and play the real notes, I would love it either way. I mainly want the notes isolated. Bass is best, but guitar is okay. The reason I want it, is because I was listening to Angel, again ( ), and I've always loved the bass line, uber. The song is so great all around, but to me the bass line makes the song, it is the greatest part of the great song. Tied with the ending vocals, and the lyrics, and the harmonies. In this case, I was really listening to the bass specifically note for note (sometimes it is hard to pick out every note and listen, when a whole song is going on, because I also love the rest of the song so much that I get distracted. I mean, that is a killer vocal) and trying to isolate just the bass. When I did that, it occurred to me that the bass line for Angel is so good, and so full (as opposed to spare, which bass lines mostly are, except John's are usually fuller than most, which is why I love him, and why he is invaluable to all the songs), that it is practically a whole song in itself. So then I wanted to hear that great "song", without all the other band/vocal around it, so that I could really hear what it was. I just love it so much, and it is so busy and tuneful for a bass line, that I want to hear it by itself. See? Does that make sense? Whatever you can figure out would be way cool. I love to learn about the music of music, all the little bits, the intricacies, and I love to practice it, but I don't comparatively have quite the natural talent and facility for it that I should have had. Like, birthright denied, Doh! lol. So I actually have to learn it, rather than it being more natural. *sigh* Then, of course, once I knew the bass line, I would have to sing it. It's all a plot to add to the instrument parts that I have to sing with every song. Usually I can only glean the guitar parts, and I can't sing the drums...so...and the harmonies are an ongoing project... This is the part where I wish my parents had told me to take up a stringed instrument, or piano, instead of the flute and alto sax. Thanks, mom n dad. Realleh. Sinisterily, they both play stringed instruments and piano, very well. *narrows eyes suspiciously at mom and dads plot* It is sad when you leave your child with only the tools to sing the instrument parts...especially when said child doesn't sing that well.... ![]() And P.S. for Sarah - thank you as well. I have seen that he has good tabs, too, though they are useless to me. But if you happen upon them, and can play stuff, that would kick much ass. Big ass. "I Like Big Butts and I Cannot Lie" ass. Yes, it would be that good. Sir Mix a Lot good.

I got the tab/musical score for the first 42 seconds done. It really depends how exact you want the thing to be as to whether I need to do much more. The whole song is just variations on the same sort of thing and as you say, there are quite a lot of variations which would take me a while if you want Sarah to do a recording of it that's exactly the same. Otherwise I can tab each of the sections from the first time they show up in the song and she can do her thang.
