Tusk 125 - (I think this album has actually gotten to a point where it's over-rated, and I never thought I'd feel that way.) |

^I'll be hated by some of the LB crowd here, but you know what? I agree with you. It's a great album.. but so is Then Play On.
Or maybe I've just heard Tusk one time (or 35416548) too much by now to appreciate it... Then Play On 82 + Tusk 124 - |

Tusk 125 + Well, I can understand the sentiment that Tusk is over-rated. But let's face it: It looks over-rated because we tend to overpronounce our subtle sentiments over here: I look like a LB-defender against all odds. JS looks like a Stevie-defender against all odds, Chili defends anything FM but SN and LB. Bottomline is, we are all FM fans. I think TPO is a masterpiece. So is Tusk. They have something in common. They were both albums that pushed away the borders of what the band was typecasted as at that time, WITHIN a line-up. Both albums are quite experimental considering where the band came from, looking at the albums they followed up. That's all: the rest of the things of these albums are impossible to compare. But saying that Tusk is over-rated is maybe realistic at this board: in the real world it has never got the attention it deserved. It is until now that it gets mentioned in articles as a masterpiece, but it is irreal to state it is over-rated. So I'll be voting for it, but I can totally live with TPO as a winner too. As a whole album, I just think that Tusk is slightly better, but I understand fully that some people tend to rate TPO slightly higher. Tusk is the soundtrack of my personal life since it came out. So that drives my vote-behaviour: not any over-rating.

^I couldn't say anything against that, good points.
I'm just tired of Tusk winning everything and anything on this board.. that's why I'd like TPO to win, for a change. Then Play On 82+ Tusk 124 - |
