For Israel to cede Jerusalem (or any part of it) to the Muslims/Arabs would be comparable to the Muslims ceding control over Mecca or Medina. Thus, while the Palestinians could say that they lived there for hundreds of years, the historical record is clear, that land, that city in particular was of primary import to the Jews and later the Christians FIRST. JMO.

First, I have to say that I don't give a sh*t about holy lands, or holy cities, or whose fictitious tribal war-god gave what land to who first. This is an example of the kind of stupid fanatical religious bullsh*t that is going to be the end of us all. It doesn't matter who had it first; if it's going to stop them from blowing up the rest of us, why not give them back their f*cking homeland? Nobody gives a sh*t if your "God's chosen people." The "people of the book" need to get over themselves. The rest of us certainly have.
