Bugger

Typical
But I guess it has to do with the fact that the UK release date has been put back to the autumn.

What?!?! It's still showing March 26 on AmazonUK (even though they still have the title as Reflections...) Where did you hear they had delayed it?

Atleast you have a release date - NZ as yet has none

Warner sent out a press release last week
Apparently they couldn't sort out the international rights in time for March 26
I probably should have posted...

We don't have a release date now either. The press release just says "released this autumn", although I've heard it may be September.
NZ might be the same then.

Crap - I'm sorry to hear that. I know it's a rehash for the most part, but still sucks to be left out.

Yet another example of Warner's complete incompetence. And they wonder why they lost so much money and just had their worst quarter ever.

Great, , that's a great proof of efficiency from Warner. This is one of those moments in which I feel the greatest gratitude for the valiant sites in US that ship overseas.

I doubt it. My company sent out a memo saying EMI was releasing it here on the 26 of March - I rang EMI and spoke to the marketing manager, and he has NO idea about this release. My friend @ Warners still has no idea either...

Oh well, Victoria is sending me a copy anyway

i fail to see why you guys even care about int'l release dates.
it's 2007, and one can easily order cd's from amazon and have it shipped anywhere across the globe. and besides, you know stevie, it's not like she's gonna bother doing any promotional efforts outside the US, and i seriously doubt whether another compilation album would generate any real media attention on its own merits.
overall, the distinction between a domestic release and an american one is the difference between accepting an album with your mail, or actually bothering to go to your local record store, to look for a copy there ("sorry dude, we only have the regular one, not the double cd edition.")

I went ahead and ordered one. I just hope that it's shipped out in a timely manner so I won't have to wait too long after the March 27th release date. On the other hand, maybe they'll be on it and I'll get it a day early or something.

People in Europe might want to see the DVD too and it is kinda crappy because the DVD will be NTSC Region 1, which means, it can only be watched in America, or on computers. Pushing back release dates because of copyright issues is just an excuse for not having to admit to have failed to promote the album in Europe. Seriously, there should roll some heads at Warner/WEA soon.
I don't care as much for the CD as I care to see the DVD, because I heard every single version of the songs before, but I haven't seen all videos in a good quality yet.

Because:
a, if you don't have a credit card you can't buy from the US
b, you pay less postage if it's being shipped from within your own country (in fact some UK sites don't charge any postage at all) AND you receive it faster
c, not everyone has a multi-region DVD player

Sure, if you actually have a credit card and don't mind paying 100 bucks for shipping. I'd much rather crawl to my local record store than beg someone to send it to me.

Dutch Warner is still saying 'next quarter'. I called them last Friday. Next quarter in my book is April-May-June, but I guess if the UK won't get it until this fall, we won't either.

Well, Amazon Germany still lists both CDs to be released on the 27th of March.
http://www.amazon.de/Crystal-Visions...3705333&sr=8-7
http://www.amazon.de/Crystal-Visions...3705333&sr=8-5

Hope there are only copyright issues with the actual UK (England, etc...) so there is still for all Europeans the chance to get it over amazon.de.
Too bad my wife is coiming back on the 19th, otherwise she could bring some CDs over if it was really postponed!

Yeah, but you can't pre-order, so that makes me doubtful it will actually be released then.
