WINCING is just about as perfect of a CD as it gets. I must listen to it about 4 times a day. Just beautiful!
The song you are talking about - TURN ON ME - reminds me a lot of the Psychedleic Furs, who I adore.
My fav today (it changes all the time) is AUSTRALIA -- I do a can-can dance in my living room everytime it's on! LOL

If I had Oprah's money, though, I would have a music box made with the RED RABBITS tune...it's just gorgeous!

(Can you tell I'm in love with this release?)

Anita has added a lot to the sound and yes, she was FAb on SNL and Letterman...wish they would take her on the road.

Well, back in April of 2006, one of their London shows was filmed and recorded for an album release. I don't know when that's going to happen, though. Hopefully soon. They've had a year to work with it!

But, Chrissie has been saying that she wants to get back into the studio. When I talked to the guys in the band over the summer, they seemed keen on a new album as well. I'm thinking late 2007 or early 2008, but I could be wrong. Album or not, I want them to toooouuurrr :[

I'm really stoked about The Stooges new album. It's coming out next month. Also, I'm excited about Rilo Kiley and Lucinda. Apparently AC/DC is in the studio, too. That'd be cool.

I heard Siouxsie was supposed to be releasing her first solo album this year, so I am anticipating that, but Stevie is probably the only confirmed album I am anticipating. Im still discovering albums from 2006, like the new Ramblin' Jack Elliot, Matthew Sweet & Susanna Hoffs and Linda Ronstadt & Ann Savoy albums

Haha, believe me, I've tried! I guess I'm only an East Coast Merch Bitch. But everyone who's going to SXSW.. check out the Get Hip showcase March 16th. Can't remember the venue name, but it's online somewheres. It'll be good.

& I'd take ya up on the beer, but I can't drink it legally for a few more years

My roommate's making me add Debbie Harry's new solo album. But at the rate she's going, we'll see that when we see Siouxsie's amirite?

Thanks, I love Jenny and I love the Watson Twins!

About Patty Griffin, I noticed she is playing a show at the Hotel Cafe in LA (really small) though it looks like that is sold out, and she is playing at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, which seems odd.

I have heard a new track from Rickie Lee Jones, and I am excited to hear more from her new record.

Also, Iris deMent is touring a little, so I am wondering if she has something new coming—have to go check.

Well aside from the ones already mentioned, I want to check out Mark Knopfler's upcoming solo album. There's also talk of a new U2 album coming this year, but I'll believe it when I see it. My guess would prob. be next year instead.
