The most recent copy of FHM. No, really.

I haven't read a book in months, and I hate it. Nothing's snagged my interest lately.

^^

I hate when I get into book funks like that....if you're looking for a good read - Water for Elephants is excellent - it's not depressing (altogether) but it's really fun and the story and imagery are fantastic.

/unsolicted recomendation.

FHM sucks these days.

I know what you mean, actually. Everything that I've picked up recently has been pretty disappointing. Been like that for a few months now. That's why I'm just going back to stuff I've already read.

Dee, I'll look into reading the Joy Luck Club. I saw the movie ages ago.

If you're going to pick anything up get Water for Elephants Seriously I just loved that book....but Joy Luck Club was good too - I want to read more of Amy Tan's stuff now

I also was going to rent the movie this weekend, but that didn't happen - I got more X-Files instead

I think you need to go to XF Addicts Anonymous, girlfriend.

I lied about not having read anything good! That Alex Kapranos book I mentioned earlier in the thread was pretty enjoyable (made me hungry), as was Counseling for Toads. Don't let the name throw you. My dad's friend brought both of those for me when she visited from Scotland.

XF anonymous...well I just can't stop mid-season, and I'm in the middle of S.5. Of course after I finish it I'll have to watch the movie -then start S.6 Yeah..I have a problem.

As long as you don't watch seasons 7-9, we're cool. If you do... Then it's a real problem.

Well I will eventually But not any time soon - in fact my X-Files viewing will decrease dramatically (like to zero) starting on Tuesday - that's when I leave town and head south....

Ooh Haunted Ireland sounds intersting...fiction or non-fiction?
