Original artwork for Street Angel?

Not sure if these are the real deal or not but these photos are much nicer than the pictures they finally used.

I had seen some of the ones with the candles, but never those exact ones.

Wow, these are gorgeous. Just about any one of them would have been better than what they ultimately used (I always thought the front pic on 'Street Angel' would have been better suited for the back cover).

By the way, the pics of Stevie wearing the big curly wig and standing with all of the candelabras, have long been alleged to have been taken on the set of a video for "Unconditional Love."

Wow. Those covers are vastly superior to what was used. I think I'd like the music better they are so good. Okay, maybe not, but almost.

Is this the first outtake we have ever seen from this photo session? Stevie looks heavenly. If you are going to wear wigs, this is how you do it, and not how she did it during Timespace.

The two alt-covers of her face are nice, but the graphics look like a ripoff of the Mirror singles released in the UK. And then there's the issue of "Street Angel" being stamped across her forehead...

Those candle photos scare me. All that drippy chiffon and a crazy curly wig around multiple fire sources? Yikes.

I have to agree those candle photos aren't favs of mine either--but I love love love the darker haired photos in the black

This is a must-addition to Chris Nicks' hall of fame. It's positively breathtaking in its ****eousness! It's right up there with the "Lucky Charms" Gold Dust Tour T-shirts.

In my opinion, I think they should have used one of the two top images on this display:



I think all of that ethereal, white/pink, candle-lit, frosty stuff is sort of at odds with the theme of the album, which was actually one of Stevie's more raw/rocking albums. This airy-fairy stuff should have been saved for Enya.

I totally agree. Also, I always thought the CD artwork was very poor marketing. One reason, using a pink CD cover of a female artist. I'm obviously not saying all men, but it probably did not contribute to added sales.

Sorry, I left out a sentence on my last post. I meant the pink cover seemed more aimed at the female audience.
