I do wonder, however, how much their investments have added to the wealth. I mean if they invested even 10% of the money starting in 1975, they would likely be worth well over $50 million on that alone.

I do find it interesting that LB seemed worried about money in the DR doc - that part about la Nicks backing out of the tour after a certain amount of dates, he had a family to support (in their $20 million) house ) - etc.

Also, from the looks of it in that magazine last year, that house La Nicks bought on the beach in LA (Malibu?) had to have cost over $10 million.

I would kinda assume that most of the 70's money was basically burned. Houses, cars, parties, limos, booger-sugar , etc. Work hard, play hard. Plus, when you're splitting the publishing three ways and the list price of an album was $8.98, it's a small piece of a small pie. And concert tickets were only like $7. Oh, those were the days... I suspect that the money didn't really start piling up until the mid eighties, when CD sales started to kick in, and when everyone got sober, and everyone finally started "thinking about tomorrow."

True - but hotel suites were $100 a night, cars were $10,000 or less, houses were way cheaper, gas was $2.25 a gallon (HEY WAIT A MINUTE )

Joking aside, I wonder if they had "people" managing their money. I know many did back then -- though I am sure much of it went pretty fast, which they admit happened in the Tusk tour.

Didn't Stevie day she was a millionaire within six months of joing FM. That some big cash back then.

That's what I was thinking - Lindsey acted like he had money problems. It must have gone somewhere.... who knows where. So, I would say Stevie. She has just garnered so much more outside of Fleetwood, that even with her extravagance I'd say her net is more - especially since the coke is no longer an issue.
