I think it would be Stevie, but I think Christine would be next in line. You have to remember....Its her songs that are still getting played on the radio. I can't tell you how many times I've heard You Make lovin Fun, Don't Stop, Little Lies, or Say You Love Me.

According to a UK list Christine has 25 million pounds ..isn't that close to $50 million? not sure what the conversion rate is now.Mick is definately the poorest which is funny considering he is also the most venal and grasping.

Yes, that's close to $50 million. That list was from back in 1998. I'm sure her net worth has gone up quite a bit during those 8 years, assuming that she's a smart investor. Her properties have certainly appreciated since then. In several of her interviews 2 years ago, she was asked how rich she was. She said she "wasn't Elton John, but who the hell needs that much money".

That same list from Q Magazine also listed John & Mick. I believe John was around $5 million & Mick was around $2-3 million.

I'm sure the three writers would have made more than Mick and John.

I'd say Stevie then Lindsey then Christine simply because Stevie and Lindsey have carried on making music and Christine has pretty much retired now.

As Macfan says a UK magazine had Christine's wealth estimated at £25,000,000. But I'm sure the article also said it was difficult to arrive at an accurate figure for people who spent much of their working lives abroad. so that figure might have under-estimated her true wealth.

Christine always strikes me as being very clever with money (after all the drink and drugs excesses were over) and I expect she gets very good advice.

I imagine she's comfortably off especially as each year the UK government gives all pensioners £200 towards their fuel costs and I expect she has a free bus pass

yep. this is the main reason I think Stevie has the most dough. besides Landslide, there's the Dreams remix, the cover of Stand Back which was pretty successful AND the Bootylicious sample.

definitely it's a songwriter. Stevie is succesful and I don't think she spent everything in "her nose", as Mick did in the 80s.

Lindsey, Chris and Stevie are wealthy, probably Lindsey is the most, but I don't think there's a huge difference among those 3.

Oh, hell, I'll weigh in, too.

I suppose Lindsey has the most money because his combined songwriting/producing/performance credits would put him ahead of everyone else. not to mention that he supposedly lives more "simply" than everyone else in the band.

If Christine was still with Mac, recording and touring, she would most likely have equal to if not more money than Stevie. She appears to be less of a spendthrift with the cash. Her songs almost routinely had the moset airplay and were usually the biggest hits, which couldn't have hurt,

But now that she's retired, living on an estate bigger than most small towns, I assume she's third on the list.
