Default itunes help???

Can someone help me, please??? I've searched the Apple website, and can't find an answer. My itunes dosen't auto-sync whenever I download something new into my music folder. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

What format is the stuff you're downloading?

I've not find a way to auto-sync it either, I usually have to manually add the songs I've downloaded..it's annoying, but I've not found another way - unless, of course, you download directly from iTunes...

I normally download stuff onto my desktop and then add it to the library- it copies it into the music folder and the library is updated immediately. Then I delete the tracks off my desktop. I guess that's probably more cumbersome than it needs to be, but it works for me.

Speaking of iTunes help, does anyone know how to get rid of the store on the bottom? I've just started using the newest version and it's driving me crazy.

What version do you have? If you have the latest (7.2, I believe), then your pod info should come up when you plug it in. If it doesn't, just click into it the normal way. A screen with your info should come up, and underneath options, it should say something like "manually synch music" -- unclick that box, and it'll synch automatically.

Sorry if these instructions suck. I was trying to take a screenshot of it, but my computer is being a bitch.
