Default Rumours .... coin flip

Someone was telling me that when they were putting together "Rumours" that there was a coin flip to decided on which song to include. One of the songs was "Dreams" but they couldn't remember the other.

Does anyone know if this is almost true or what the real story is?
THANKS!!

It would surprise me if that were true. Only because I remember Stevie saying when she wrote "dreams" and took it to the rest of the band, they liked it immediately.(Or maybe she said she "knew" they would like it immediately....mm...big difference ) Nonetheless, I would think it would have more clout that I don't want to know.
As far as the other song-I have no clue

But I am NO fleetwood mac expert-just giving my 2c.

It was between "I Don't Wanna Know" and "Silver Springs". The whole "coin toss" is actually a myth. But these 2 songs cause so much havoc. Stevie was going for Silver Springs but the rest of the band weren't sure. They never had an ACTUALL coin toss. It's just a figure of speach but there was a deffinate competition between the 2 songs.

THANK YOU! I remember way back then hearing about it being a "coin toss" between tracks. I suppose "Dreams" came up thinking it was between a couple of Stevie tracks.
Thanks for clearing this up!
