This is on my very first credit card...with my local bank. A Visa card and I have never paid interest or had a late payment. I am their worst nightmare since I don't ever pay interest. LOL I hope that helps me too.

Whoa -that is a substantial chunk of change..I can fully understand why you'd want that back! And it's very unfair of the place to not budge when you called mere minutes after talking to them.

Sadly, the fact that you don't pay interest may not work for you - I hope that's not the case and that they treat you like a good customer - but my opinion of credit card companies is the devil.

of course - since they know that you won't pay interest on said charge - and therefore they don't have a lot to gain from i t- that may work in your favor. I don't know how the minds of the CC companies work - but I hope this all works out in your favor...and I think you should horse-whip that girl

I think everything will work out fine. If for some reason your bank doesn't support you, you can easily take your rage out on the merchant by filing a complaint online at the better business bureau. The guy is a jerk...give me the number and I would be happy to tell him so around 2am in a week or so.
