The same thing happened in Australia a few years back except the anchorwoman was not saying such glowing things about her husband. Something about his 'balls' or lack thereof as I recall. She made a big apology on the news the next night to both her husband and the viewing public. There was big calls for her to be fired though. Interesting that in this case the woman hasn't made a public apology to her sister-in-law. Perhaps that particular relationship is beyond/not worth salvaging!

Thats so funny!! Its so easy to forget that you have a mike on I think!!

Well at least she was praising her hubby!!! thats nice to hear...
and although she called her sister in law a control freak, it could have been worse... thats pretty tame really...

I think its hysterical!

Stephanie Miller was talking about this yesterday and one of her guys asked why the sound guys wouldn't have turned her off. She said maybe she hadn't made friends with the sound guys.

It's also possible that she has a good relationship with her sister-in-law who may have said, "yep, I am a control freak".

That is freaken unbelievable. CNN, for god's sake. Making an error like that. I can't believe it. I could see maybe your local news channel making a mistake like that, but CNN! Poor Kyra, I love her. How embarrassing for her. Has she been back on the air since? OMG, what about her sister-in-law? Sunday night dinner should be fun

Edit: The zipper flying up over Bush talking is hilarious!
