I could never regard her as an Artist the way I look at most of the singers and musicians I admire, but she amuses me in terms of culture and sheer entertainment value. I don't see that she has an emotional investment in her music, but she doesn't pretend to. She is a SHOW. And she does it the way it should be done. Full Vegas, baby.

As a person, I think she is pretty cool. I love her f- you take no prisoners attitude. Must say, shame about the face, though.
f*ckin A...you read my mind. this. is what I was trying to say.

my favorite quote of hers..."I have to answer to myself and God" - lurves it.

As a human, she rocks. I think she has balls of steel and is pretty indestructible.
She is one of the few people I haven't met that I would care to meet.
I wouldn't fawn and be nervous, I would like to meet her
just to tell her she kicks ass.

I've been borrowing that "answer to God only" quote from Cher ever since I heard her say it. "And I don't give a sh*t what anyone else thinks of me."

God, any Fleetwood Mac song. Burned out'D. Except Mystery to Me, that always sounds orgasmic on vinyl. I can listen to Tusk sometimes, but.. eh. Same with Stevie's solo stuff, and Christine's.

Also, I can't stand anything by Natasha Beddingfield, or James Blunt - those voices, ugh. I don't mind Rush, so long as Geddy Lee shuts his mouth.

PS: "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" is obvs the worst Beatles song ever.

And yet you're still a member of the Ledge...a Fleetwood Mac fan forum???

I'm not trying to be snarky here - but it really makes no sense to me If you hate their music with every fiber or your being - then why bother over here?? Serious question - not trying to be mean, bait or anything - so I'm looking for an honest non-mean answer.

Hmm.... I could go on all night about this. But, I'll narrow it down somewhat, at least for now.

- "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter. It was okay at first, but it grates my nerves like crazy now. Shut up already, your songs give ME a bad day.

- "Take My Breath Away", Jessica Simpson. And "These Boots Were Made For Walking", while I'm at it. Jessica sweetheart, next time you pick a song to ruin, don't pick songs that are classics.

- any and (almost) EVERY hip-hop song. OK we get it, you slapped a ho and you love your grill. You can do disappear into musical oblivion now, kthx.

Because I still happen to like a few of the people here? And I still like Lindsey's solo work and admire his production skills? And "with every fiber of your being" is kind of a lame way to put it, as there isn't a single song that I could say I detest that much. So I figured I'd just post stuff I'm not a fan of/sick of, and I answered honestly.

I used to be majorly into FM, like it was all I listened to. Then I got sick of it. However, there are a few people that I still like on this board, so why should I leave? Besides, I only post on the Chit Chat forum anymore, as the serious, heart-felt discussions of "omg who should play FM in a movie" don't enthrall me, sorry to say. And besides, I know I'll find information about Petty tour dates on here, which is a lot easier than attempting to navigate his forum.

Eh.
