Holy damn!! 8 children!!! I know a gal in Rochester who just had her first - she and her husband want at least 5 more. That, in my opinion, is just socially irresponsible.

A friend of mine has two and is thinking of a third - her own mother told her to be happy with what she has and to not have a third baby...her own mother! But I agree with the lady - nowadays there's really no need for a big family -no farms to work, no barns to raise etc...

I couldn't get past the first few sentences of an article about this, but have to say this is one of the most atrocious actions in my lifetime.
