No, you would have been just fine. You would not have heard "Landslide" at Stevie's first four solo tours, would not have heard "Rhiannon" on the Shake the Cage Tour or the Mirror Tour, would not have heard "Gold Dust Woman" on the Tusk Tour or the Mirage Tour or the later Rock a Little Tour or the Mirror Tour or the Timespace Tour.

You'd have been just fine, Stew. You'd have loved it all & not thought a second about what wasn't performed.

Um..I was there!

I actually did get to see all five of the songs I listed when I saw FM in 1990, but Stevie wasn't too "with it" that night (or for most of that tour, really). So I guess I'd like to witness (in person -- not just on DVD) today's healthier, more clear-headed & "together" Stevie performing those songs.

We've seen in this past couple of years what she is still capable of (Beauty and the Beast is a good example) and what I saw of her with Petty proved to me she can still really go all out. So I'd like to see her give SOTM another chance.

I'd also love if they'd do Storms as an encore or something like Goodbye Baby. If not an encore, I'd be happy with it ANYWHERE in the set. lol. I'd say no to Angel though cause I really wouldn't like to see that song performed with her just standing still, and I know she's not gonna dance all over the stage in platform boots, so I say keep it laid to rest.
I agree she is too careful. On Tour..she needs to pace herself now.
She knows we all want the big vocal freak out at the end of SOTM..it AINT GONNA HAPPEN!Storms deserves to an Encore! She can still rock out on Angel..no dancing is required.

I don't want to hear Rhiannon. I don't want to hear Dreams. I don't want to hear Stand Back. And I don't want to hear Gold Dust Woman or Landslide. How about Storms? Sara again would be nice. Gypsy, accoustic. How about That's Alright? How about Twisted, with Stevie and Lindsey? I hope more than anything that the set list is MIXED UP, so I'll want to go. I am not paying to see the last two tours repeated. WHO CARES if the 'fans don't know the songs' other than Stevie?!
Gotta be realistic folks..this thread was not "Your Fantasy Set List"
Lindsey was not in FM for BTM so..it will not be honored. I mean sure..we all have our ideal set list..I was trying to be realistic with a few surprises.

That doesn't appeal to me at all.

Hey, how about playing some new (or newer) songs? How about playing something old that's never been performed before? That sounds appealing...at least for a genuine fan. But, oh no, the masses just want to hear Dreams and the dozen other songs they've been riding on for the past 20years.
She already has...I prefer that to Stand Back anyday!
Yes..we want the rare never done gems..YES!!!

Stevie should do SOTM in E minor, which is a fourth lower than the original key of A minor, and would be much easier on her voice. Lindsey did the same thing with Come, on which he obviously couldn't replicate the vocal effects.

I hope I'm wrong, but I have a feeling that Sara was a one off thing in 2004.

I would be devastated if Stand Back wasn't done. Its one of my favorites of all times. And I don't care if I sound like a chiffon head I LOVE the twirls.

I can see Angel happening because its not that hard to sing. SOTM would be cool but I don't love it like I used to. Seven Wonders I think is also just way too hard to sing, but I would have loved that. My top 2 Stevie songs I would die to see played are RTTG and Affairs of the Heart.

I always wanted Tango in the Night...but that's all Lindsey.

I always loved Running Through the Garden. I never got to see that. I hope they put that on there...great song.
