Strangers With Candy movie!!!

So who has seen it yet?

I went last night to the opening in DC, and it was everything I hoped it would be and more. I was really afraid that they would just rehash a bunch of jokes from the show, attempting to reach out to people who didn't watch the series. But as someone who owns every episode and can probably quote them all, I was NOT disappointed at all.

This sounds like an exaggeration, but I was seriously laughing throughout 95% of the movie. Because of this, I think I need to see it again...I know there are things that I missed because I was laughing at other things.

Anyone else's thoughts?

I've been waiting to see this movie since I first heard about it on the Colbert Report. I used to watch SWC when they'd rerun it when I came home from school.

I saw it yesterday. I couldn't stop laughing from the shower scene until the science fair.

I can't find when it'll show up here in Chicago. Well, the suburbs of Chicago, since I'm a lazy git. Can't wait. The reviews have been mixed so I'm glad to hear you both liked it.

It's already playing here, but only at one theater on the other side of the city, I'll see it when it comes to my neighborhood. Can't wait though... I'm a big fan, I have all of the episodes on dvd!

I can't wait to see this movie. I've been hearing lots of great things about it. it's not playing here so I gotta figure out how I'm gonna see it...may have to wait for DVD.
