I thought the only thing you were holding out on was confirmation of Stevie's appearance.

These shows will sell out quickly and there will be demand, so you could always buy tickets and sell them if you can't go.

The only thing holding me back from buying Darien Lake tix here is the fact that I saw Petty there last year & I'm not going again unless she's there. She hasn't been to Buffalo (solo) since 86 or 89, so I'm assuming she won't be coming here.

The only thing holding me back from the Berkeley shows or the LA show is my husband. Plus the fact that if I got all my plans settled, bought tix & found out she's not going to be there, that would be bad. Not that I wouldn't have a great time anyway, but still.

My concern about Cali tix is that I was thinking about doing that special ticket deal (2 tix guaranteed in the first 15 rows, membership to the fanclub, coupon for fanfire & the new CD, all for $200 total) and if I do that, they're non transferable, you have to pick them up at the venue & show ID. I wouldn't be able to sell them if I couldn't go.

Couldn't the fan club rerelease them? They must have some kind of return thingy.

Does that "$200 total" include the tix? Wow, I totally want that, that is a good deal.

Yeah, it does, that's why I'm debating it. $200 for 2 damn good seats guaranteed plus the new CD and a coupon for merchandise? I think it's a good deal.

It's an excellent deal, as tickets are close to $100 anyway with service fees. It seems like demand would be huge for this, especially the Berkeley shows. Based on the chatter on the TP board, it looks like a lot of people are flying in for these concerts. I'll just be happy if I get decent seats. And I'd rather not sit on those concrete blocks.

Holy Crap! I must sign up. But what I was saying was don't they have some kind of avenue for returning the tix? Since they themselves make the tix almost totally non-transferable, you'd think they'd have something. Especially if they are will call - if you wanted to return the tix, all they would have to do is credit your card and re-release them to availability because no actual tix changed hands.

I have never been to the Berkeley Greek, but the LA one was my favorite large venue.

I am looking forward to the performance, even if Stevie doesn't show up. I saw Tom Petty once before, in the 80's, and he put on a great show. Oh, but I really hope she is there!

Nevermind, it says all sales are final. And from what I can tell, RickyPt is right - tickets are $200 each.

The fanclub is a scam. Don't buy a ticket! I along with a few other people got screwed over with our seats. They were not handed out first come first serve. I ordered 5 shirts and only received 2 so far and they continue to debit and credit my account for no reason at all and when I call then to find out why they can't tell me.
