I may have to marry you if for no other reason and despite your fabulousness, than to get legal possession of that lovely pill box hat you are sporting here.

Oooh thank you!
I wish I still had the hat. All of the fabulousness was due to the beautiful, the outrageous, visionary, and gloriously bitchy leather queen, Dale Rideout (behind me on the car,you can just see the zebra print on his jacket) who stayed up late with glue gun and yards of tulle.
He is no longer with us, in fact, neither are the other two skaters, but he will never be forgotten.

The only costume items I owned here were the belt, which I still have, and the professional weight fishnets.

No, I was jetlagged and I don't like the crowds either. Cool that they played the Dreams remix, though!

Ouch - sorry to hear about your friends!!!! I have lost some as well and it just is awful. But, believe me when I tell ya, a few of mine were WAY to clever and bitchy to go quietly and I have a sneaky suspicion they are around in spirit and playing pranks on me all of the time

Also - please never underestimate the power of an industrial weight fishnet!

If you think about it, I would be suprised if she wasn't there.

I went to the parade in Chicago on Sunday and I had quite a few FM/Stevie moments. The parade started with a marching band playing Tusk. Then, a float went by playing the Dreams remix.

Later that night at Roscoe's the Stand back video was playing when I walked through the door. About an hour later Bootylicious was played with the Stevie cameo and "Edge" rift.

To finish the night I was able to dance to the Planets remix at Charlie's. That song still packs the floor after four years.

I had a great time and had my FM/Stevie Fix for the day.

Dayam!!! I'm suprised Stevie herself didn't show up, with that huge load of Stevieness! That is a lot in one day.

If Dale is around, he is wondering why I don't wear those fishnets anymore.
Those fishnets could tow a car. But we didn't do that in the parade.

I know. I half expected to see her come twirling around the corner. In my drunken state later that night I may have seen that "crystal vision".

My drunken fantasy was Stand Back twirling like a midwest tornado. But, I did visualize her baton twirling and high step marching durning the earlier marching band Tusk performance.

Any twirling is Stevielicious!!

I'll bet everyone had a great time. I'd like to go to that parade someday.
