I think it's actually a tea kettle. the rooms were decorated with various Alice In Wonderland themes...mirrors, teacups, etc...

the red dress ended up not being appropriate for the event (the dress part was more lace than satin and was see through) so I took the corset I wore on top of the red dress and put it over an awesome Stevieish duster.
