Hey Jason!
How was NY? We had a BLAST!!! It was great to finally meet you. We flew out really early so I could not stay all nite. How do the finals work? Prizes?
An ultimate winner? What's the deal? It was fun singing along to STORMS! LOL! Wish we could have hung out more....

NYC was amazing. I was able to really do a lot of what I've always wanted to do on shorter trips there. the Edge battle isn't really a battle...no prizes or anything, more like an encore for all. we'll hang our more next year when I'm not a rookie.

and thanks for starting such a complimentary thread in my honor. I appreciate that. hope you enjoyed it. and sorry if I looked a little ragged when we talked...it was really hot backstage.

Are you kidding? You looked AMAZING!!! I'm glad I could come out to support you! Went to Madonna opening in L.A. last night...YOU MUST GO!!! Her best show in years. Are you a Madonna fan too?

well thanks.

yes, I want to go see her...trying to figure out exactly where to see her and if I can afford it. the cost of the NY trip and preparations for same wiped out my play money.

What do you do for work in Missisippi? I saw Liv Tyler in a bookstore, Patrick Dempsy on the street, Sarah Jessica Parker taking her kid to preschool, Alan Thicke (who cares) in Times Square in NY. Constantine from last years American Idol was on the plane coming back..he said he was going to the finals. Do you watch AI?AI finalist Katharine goes to my church!!!!!

ate at Tao, saw Rent (met Frenchie backstage), ate at Lucky Cheng's, shopped (loved Gucci and Sephora most), went to Madame Tussad's, saw The DaVinci Code, took the subway (that counts, right?)

I am so jetlagged. I'm a paralegal. you saw lots of people. that's really cool you saw Liv and Patrick. the last time I was in NYC I got on the elevator with the guy that plays the villain in Ghost...he was oh so sexy and very tall. I saw Taylor Hicks Thursday night in Times Square.

I do watch AI, although I don't really care who wins this year as I don't really like either of the 2 finalists.

is anyone here also a member of Seven Wonders? they were really popular Friday night. and gave out cute little tambourines and keychains. they got a nice little plug by Hattie too right before I came on. I was just wondering if anyone saw Brian or Cyndi Lauper or can confirm David Hasselhoff was there.

Yes I'm the Travis from DC. Well I'm from MD but I work at Omega DC in DC. And yes, we did have a Stevie / Halloween party this past Halloween. If you click the link in my sig, the ad is still up. But it was last year's so don't confuse it for this year. I am planning on having one each Halloween as long as I'm at Omega. Before that we did have 2 Fleetwood Mac / Stevie parties. One in 2002 for "The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac" and one in 2003 for the release of "Say You Will." Those were a little different because we were promoting new releases and I had promo goodies to pass out. The Stevie/Halloween parties is just something I wanted to do. I'll have posters up, a display table with rare Stevie pictures and "candles and crystals" ;-). It gives me the chance to play all of Stevie's videos and some rare clips. The date for this year has yet to be determined but it will either be the last Saturday in October or the one before that.

here are the pictures that I have in order from getting ready in the hotel to the performance to saying goodbye to my new friends backstage after the Edge battle. a couple I am in love with...a couple not so much...I look possessed in a couple and I didn't realize how fat the rouching (sp?) of my outfit made me look...oh well.

Your starting to outshine some ladies!!

And your "hair" looks really "pantene ad" shiny! By the look of it you wouldn't of needed Karen to constantly brush it!

What a fabulous experience, im so happy for you that you enjoyed it as much as you had dreamed.

I'm really hoping for your sake and for mine that you get your hands on some audio or video... Though saying that you'll probably get all Stevie'eee about it and dash off on a midnight plane to some european country to record overdubs!
