I think this is just the best type of forum for John to be 'interviewed' in. If you'd sat him in a room w/ Lindsey, Mick and Stevie and asked these questions, you would never in a million years have gotten the responses we've gotten here. He is amazing.

No, he would never have gotten a word in with those three around.

I think Lindsey already has a band set up for a tour.

I am about to wet myself.

TOUR?! WHEN?! ALBUM?! WHEN?!

I know Christy. The question is WHEN????? Lindsey has been saying that he is releasing a solo album and doing a tour now for over 2 years. I hate to get my hopes up again.

Lis, please pass along to John how much we'd (ok, ok, *I'd*) REALLY like to hear live material from the Weston/Walker & Mystery To Me era!

And, pass along my email address to him so I can work a deal with him for copies of any CD transfers of those cassettes he makes. (2% kidding; 98% serious )

This is pretty much what I told John, that LB has been doing this for awhile. He wrote me today that he believes Lindsey does have an album coming out soon-- some new material, 'Plus a tour'. I think that's all he really knows...?

I think I am starting to wet my pants also now. Slowly.

May I reiterate.....EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Band has no plans to release anything like this. So maybe I'll start a company, sell them on E-bay, piss the band off and make a fortune. (There goes the Tour!)

John, you're the BEST! And your sense of humor just makes reading all your answers that much better. It's an absolute pleasure!!! THANK YOU!

Really, Lisa? That does make me feel better. Well, a little better. Thank you and a big thanks again to John!

I think I'm going to stick with being "cautiously optimistic."

Oh please let this be true!
As for those soundboards, I would love to work on tranferring those. I can only imagine what all he has.
