I really appreciate her attitude toward the war and the soldiers. There are plenty of people to talk about the right and wrong and where things are going and what should be happening, but we (and especially the returning soldiers) also need people who are willing to take a neutral stance politically and simply offer emotional support for the people who don't have the luxury of sitting back on Capitol Hill in a suit and tie and arguing the theoretical stuff.

I hope the other 50 of the 50-50 chance that Fleetwood Mac will tour next year is that they'll cut another album instead... Unless they're planning to dig quite a bit deeper into their catalogue, I've got no desire to see any kind of redux nostalgia tour again. Somebody write in to John and beg him to convince the others to play some different stuff...

Her comments of "Oh, there's such a multitude of other material I can play if I want to" is always so exciting, and then she has to dash it immediately with "But of course, I probably won't." Better than false hopes, I suppose.

(And dude, never seen a photo of Stevie in jeans? Where've you been? I think she was far sexier back in '75 with the jeans than she's ever been with the witchy dresses.)

I agree. I often wonder what she really thinks about the whole situation but her position as a 'soldier's advocate' as she puts it is very worthy. I really admire her for it.
