I have to admit to laughing my ass of at part six. She just wants to get the hell out of there! See the look she gives when they ask her do the promos?

*sideways glance*
"oookay..."

She's just so sarcastic during that part, I can't help but crack up. That aside... The rest of it is just.... :\

No, dear- 1986 to 1994 is eight years. It was eight years of her life that was lost to Klonopin.

I just don't understand how Stevie got bogged down on Klonopin for eight years! Certainly after the first year she should have realized there was an addiction problem and where where her doctors? Were they prescribing this for eight years? Why would she wait eight years to get treatment?

IMO, when she realized she couldn't do cocaine anymore she was devastated...it was such a major part of her life. Perhaps Klonopin eased the mental pain.

Does anybody know someone that has taken Klonopin?

One minute she's happy the next, slightly hostile. There's that familiar listlessness in her voice that I remember from that period. Thank god she made it.

I do and have taken it myself a few times. It never zonked me the way she says and it didn't seem addictive, but I know that it is - then again, I didn't and don't take it every day...

Yeah... me. It took me 4 and a half years to realize this. You're in such a zombie state and can't really react to anything and don't understand consequenses as you are always only living only in that one moment. Someone could tell you "the house is on fire.... RUN!!" and you'd be like, "ok... (sigh)... oh well, I guess I have to get up now, but no big deal". As for the doctor, he just wanted to keep increasing my dosage, and since I was so zombied out, I would just say "ok". Then there's just the pure fatigue all day long. You're just too tired to take any kind of action. Then one day, I woke up and thought, "hey, I haven't gotten angry in years. I haven't yelled at the cat in years. I haven't laughed in years. I haven't cried, either. Maybe I should see what happens if I stop taking this drug." For me , as I said, it took 4 and a half years. Everyone is different.

For the record she has stated" I wrote most of the songs for the TOSOTM before I starting taking the Klonopin so I kind of slipped by on that one"

She said all of the songs on the Mirror album were written before she got too heavily into the klonopin.

Any interview from the early ninties is sad for me to watch. I esp. hate the OSOTM int. from England where she reads the Children Go On poem. I know some people think it is so beautiful and just lovely but I hear it as a cry for help. Pretty blatantly.
