He is amazing, Lis. It seems only right to have John McVie featured on The Penguin. Thank you for doing all the Q&A's. Thank you to Marty and Lis for years of labor, and for the many contributions from so many fans that have built this site to be the finest collection of Fleetwood Mac "stuff" anywhere. You're the best.

Thank you so much for all those kind words. I know Marty likes all the the minute details of the discography stuff, but the Q&A's are totally my favorite part of this site-- I think they are just priceless, they're like a gift that the fans and guests have given to each other.

And yes, John is amazing. I have always said it and will continue to say it, like a broken record. I mean, I kinda hoped one day he'd feel like coming back for a bit more, but I didn't really think he would LOL. And to me, his participation and enthusiasm are even cooler when you consider how in over 4 decades of his career-- this was the guy who usually avoided the interviews... or if he was there, he didn't say much. Maybe that was due to shyness, or feeling that the press would probably much rather talk to Stevie or Mick etc, or feeling like it's all bullsh*t anyway-- but anyway to see that now, at this stage of his life and career, the fact that he can relax and do something like this on his own terms, in this type of forum, sharing his memories and his most adorably endearing personality and just enjoying it, for however short or long a period he wants to do it for, is so amazing to me.. I get weepy just writing about it. it boggles my mind.

Thanks to everybody who visits and contributes to the Penguin, we very much appreciate it, always have and always will.

A Good Time Charlie sort indeed!

I wonder just how many kids' lives were changed by "Rave On" back in the day...

Hey Lis,

Is it too late to submit a question? If not, where can I submit one?

Thanks,
Jimmy

Like I said before, this is obviously a true labor of love, and like anything in life, if you enjoy doing it, it usually does very well, and the Penguin is no exception. I'm only sorry I didnt join sooner.
