That's hard to believe. Popular songs will always be popular..

It's like they choose no hit songs for the nex mac setlist. We the fans would love to hear live Storms, Oh Daddy or Walk a thin line, but usually the band plays what the general public expect.

I'd find such a band interesting only if they stuck to blues, not to pop rock. Their pop rock history is fascinating to me mostly because Stevie's songs were a disorder element. That would be interesting, but I don't think Lins or Chris were too interested in persuing the blues. I doubt it would have been as interesting without Stevie, but it still wouldn't have been a bore. Lindsey is a bit unpredictable, too, abliet in a way very different from that of Stevie.

I guess you're right, but I'd love so much to hear Christine singing the blues, it would be awesome.

You'll get no arguements from me on that one! I'd love to hear Chris sing the blues again. And, I'd really love to hear Lindsey experiment with Leadbelly/Robert Johnson style acoustic blues. It had a lot of finger style, and I think he could have run with it. And, I'll go a step further, I would love to hear the "Rumours" band do a blues album. These days, Stevie's voice is not all that dissimilar to Etta James. There are points when I listen to Etta's original "I'd Rather Go Blind" that evoke images of Stevie.

I'd love to hear such an album too, or a Stevie album in that direction. I've never thought about it, but in fact the original version of I'd rather Go Blind reminds of Stevie's voice. That's also cool since Etta James is my second favourite singer. Ever heard her version of the song with Dr. John? One of the best live performances I've listened to, IMO.
