Question CapCenter, MD '75 Audio (and more) ?

Just curious, does anyone know where I can find a downloadable Audio File for this performance. I downloaded the video that was posted in the Rhiannon In Blue Jeans thread... I may be getting an iPod soon, and I really want to get some Live performances, of this line up in their prime, the 75/76 stuff.

So my second question is, where in general, can I find some of these shows for download. Does such a place exist?
Forgive me if this is a no brainer, but I really don't know that much about FM downloading sites.

thanks,

Not sure where you can pick up that particular recording, but dime a dozen dot org and throwndown.net are two places you might want to start with. throwndown will be easier to get into as the membership for torrents isn't restricted, there's also mp3s there as well. Dime is another story... you need to keep trying to get a membership in there as there is a cap on membership.

MacMan, thanks for that fantastic U2. I was getting a little tired of "Aerial" so the U2 will go right onto my MP3 player for exercise.

thanks...I got an account on throwndown...But, as I am a complete idiot at torrents, bittorents, whatever they are I am clueless as to why the file I downloaded won't play. Do I have to have some special program? I'm sorry if these questions seem stupid, I just really have no clue...

thanks

Well essentially you need a client (program) to do the download for you if you are looking into the torrents. There is a massive thread just down a few from this one in the Rumours forum, it's titled "Some DVD's for Download" or something like that.

Basically, if you go to download dot com and look up the program bitcomet, and install it (it's free). That's a client that I use and have had no problems with. That will get you started. You'll also need flac front end to uncompress the files to wav files once they've downloaded.... Oh and be prepared to download for hours to get one show... Depending on the amount of people that are seeding it can take awhile.

There's a lot of usefull info in that "Download torrents" thread, so spin through it and give it a go.

Good luck.
