Honestly, I think the most radio-friendly song would have been Steal Your Heart Away. Great melody, great harmonies. Sweet, easy to sing, good hook. Peacekeeper was too odd; I think the record company went with it as the lead single hoping to capitalize on the anti-war sentiments of the time. Lame.

And I really don't see it that way. If I love particular lyrics in a song I can easily overlook some that aren't neccecarily on the same level and enjoy the parts I do without even thinking about the others. Focus on the good!

Hahahaha! I find I have to do that too often... (*ree-ow!*)

Wearing boots all summer long used to make me cringe, but I got over it because my love of Nightbird was too strong. I know I have many other lines that make me want to dive for cover... of course they're all eluding me at the moment... hurting my everything... reminding me of blue denim...

It wasn't a single in Canada - was it in the U.S.? I never, ever heard it on the radio. I stand corrected if it was released as a single - but I certainly never saw or heard any indication that it was. Did it even chart?

EFO is my favourite song on that cd. It f**king rocks! Some of Stevie's best writing, IMO. I think it would have kicked ass live, but once again, Stevie takes the easy route out with SYW, EFO would have been too much work for her.

SYHA and Thrown Down were released at the same time as singles. Unfortunately, no one knew they were released.

Well, hopefully someone lost their job for that uninspired move. Released at the same time? What artist releases two songs at the same time? I could see if it was an artist like Beyonce, and one was an upbeat hip hop dance track and one was an AC ballad... but why would a record company release two FM songs at the same time? No wonder this poor album didn't do well. It didn't stand a chance with that kind of crappy marketing.

I love all the lyrics of this song. This part especially seems to have her (or whomever the song is about) wrestling with her conscience. The voices in her head are fighting it out. Over all the song to me is an anthem for "the other woman" in a relationship and the cries of a crazy woman in love. That's why I like it so much and think it's Stevie at her most reckless and ready to explode.

SYHA was released as a single?! Had I only known . . . when my Fleetwood tribute did SYHA live a bunch of times last year, we could have introduced it as the "current single ... soon not to be current" instead of just "you have no idea what the hell this song is, do you?"
