So the White house is going to be rid of a man who is named Scooter? Oh, and the poor Democrats think that will ACTUALLY bring down the Bush administration! I didn't even know who the man was until like 20 minutes ago...I don't think anyone did!

It was a joke! Of course I knew who he was. But I don't think anyone really did before the whole "leak" investigation. And I don't see this as being very important in terms of the Bush admin. or the running of the country.

Ding ding ding! You get a cookie, Ken. The administration is nothing but a rotting corpse at the moment. It compromises their USSC nomination, it compromises the ongoing conflict in Iraq, it compromises all of the "political capital" that Bush clamied to have after the election, etc. The list is ongoing. Not to mention that the investigation isn't even over. Take solace in the fact that this will still be in the news (the trial, any further grand jury developments and indictments) next year during the elections, along with DeLay and Frist. They were punked with Harriet Miers, devastated by Katrina, their administration is imploding, and it's safe to say that they're pretty much doomed at the moment.

We're trying to make sense of why 2000 US troops and countless Iraqi citizens

I heard someone on MSNBC last night expressing that Bush should step down/be impeached. This is serious.
