No, I got it. She is saying that the gernade happened to blow up and Cleland is no hero for that because it could have happened anywhere. She is wrong. It did not happen anywhere. It happened while he was serving in Vietnam, which was an honoroable thing for him to do and FAR more than W or Cheney did. Yet, she never says that. Instead, she leaves one with the impression Cleland was not a hero for serving in Nam - she specifically said he was not a hero. That is fu*ked up ****te. The man lost limbs while serving his country and deserves respect for it. Yet, she treated him like he did nothing of the sort and implied she was some sort of con artist for losing limbs in Vietnam while serving his country.

I read what you wrote. And still think you missed the point.

Then what is the point, other what I stated. Enlighten and thrill me with your acumen

P.S. You can use poly-syllabic words if you know any

"moonbat" That's my favorite! Limbaugh got out of serving in military because he had an "anal cyst".

Well what is the point. After reading "Cleland Drops a Political Grenade" if you take from it something entirely different than what she intended, then how am I going to "enlighten" you or change your mind its pointless...isn't it?

See there is that invective that I love. But everyone gets touchy when I use it!

Called out and for - and couldn't come.

You lose. Do you not get tired of this state because I cannot remember you ever winning a factual argument here - EVER

Just forget it Jason...

It doesn't matter really. I'm not going to change your mind and you aren't going to change mine.

LOL - spin spin spin

The point is you are wrong because the facts do not support you. They never do. I could care a less about changing your mind. I just care about being correct, which I am. Yet, when called out to admit that, you change the topic

To what...Ice fishing?

No, I'm right...but you just want me to continue this pointless argument so it will somehow validate your claims about the intent of the column.

Max Cleland = lost his limbs. This does not make him a war hero. And liberals lied about it.

See you in another thread Jason!

The fact that he was there at all makes him a hero.

But, you will never admit that no matter how true it is.

Reagan, a man who supported apartheid, is a hero. Max Cleland, a man who served in Vietnam and lost limbs while serving, is not a hero. Get it straight.
