Default Is this song about Stevie Nicks?

I know it's a long shot, but is this song about Stevie Nicks? It hit #1 in November 1975, & I think it's about Stevie, who was a newfound star then. Even the music has little traces of Rhiannon in it.

Fly, Robin, Fly
Silver Convention

Fly, robin fly
Fly, robin fly
Fly, robin fly
Up, up to the sky

Fly, robin fly
Fly, robin fly
Fly, robin fly
Up, up to the sky

Fly, robin fly
Fly, robin fly
Fly, robin fly
Up, up to the sky

If it was on the charts in November 1975, it had to have been recorded much earlier. Stevie Nicks was STILL just an insignificant blip on the radar screen of stardom at that point...it wasn't until "Rhiannon" was released as a single just after the first of the year that put her in the spotlight.

Sounds more like it's about Robin to me.

Default The lyrics are so profound...

It could ONLY be about Stevie;-)

Actually, I always assumed it was about drugs or disco or both.

And, that would be the aforementioned "blip".

Boston? Do you mean Eddie Money? He did a song with that title -- a big hit -- with Ronnie Spector on backing vox.
