One of the funnier moments from when I was better known as smacdoug was when somebody asked if, based on my screen name, I was Stevie, a member of Fleetwood Mac, or an associate (the logic being s=Steve; mac=Fleetwood Mac; doug=???). That's partially why I now go by SteveMacD.

...my names not in my signature, not sure why actually...but 9 times out of 10 I end my posts with ~Nicki which is my name, (short for Nicola). Oddly, I prefer being Nic but I cant be bothered explaining the male/female thing most of the time. My ex boyf used to call me Seren, as I use Serendipity as my screen name for everything! Phew...arent you glad you asked?!
