You do realize I am getting oodles of grins that you have fallen for a ranking member of the super rich elite "establishment" - I mean he attended Reagan's funeral.

I swear on my dog's life that I am not Minnie.
Her "I'm gonna leave this WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRLLLLDDDDDD for awhile" leaves Petty's in the dust

Seriously, they are very different IMO and I like both.

I can't help it. He's just fabulous and he brings the irresistible snark factor. Shoot me.

Petty isn't exactly a singer who belts, nor does he add melodrama just for the sake of it. I always got the impression that she was trying too hard to make a rather simplistic, straightforward song into some bombastic event.

And her version is too damned long; it never seems to end.

I love that Perez loves Stevie. Can you imagine if he didn't? She's one of the few celebs who never gets trashed on his site.

I know, isn't it ironic that the trashiest tabloid on-line loves Stevie
