I am NOT, going to let Mr. Franken get away with BLATENT lies and half-truths, especially given the TITLE of the book.

Don't you understand the only one who was lying in this whole thing was Mr. Franken for not stating THE FULL "endnote?" He lied in order to make Ann seem like a liar, but she clearly did not lie about this (or any of the other inane things he claims of her). She stated a fact and backed it up. I will say though that Mr. Franken is correct about people not checking endnotes...PEOPLE that read his books that is! People who read his books and buy into what he says are not interested in fact but only sensationalism, which is why they don't bother to check endnotes. Excuse Ann for assuming that her readers are smart enough to pick up on her obvious meaning. The context clearly shows that she was talking about his personal popularity not his job approval rating, as we said before.

Blah blah blah. And why, might I ask, did she refer to his personality popularity numbers as his approval ratings? Language is everything and she uses it to intentionally mislead.

And Ann doesn't have smart readers. That's like saying the Khmer Rouges had capitalists.
