Well my favorite song of his is You and I part 1, so I guess I like the softer side a bit more.

Default Love the softer side

Dance era and on...
I like the toning down of the anger. The acceptance of heartache, mistakes made (his and others), and the feeling of moving on.
I still think he takes plenty of chances with his weirder works. I still think the man can rock the house and get you all hot and bothered with his guitar solos (still fanning myself over standing in front of him when he did Come a few times last year...ah, that doesn't sound right, does it? I mean, he performed the song and I was in the front row a couple of times...pretty much right near his mic)...but the softer side...the vulnerable stuff just makes you want to curl up in a corner somewhere and live in an alternate universe or something.
Or is that just me?

"Out of the Cradle" sex god hottie.

Tusk era was pretty delicious, too.

Too aging bachelor-ish. And he looked gaunt.

I've never found him particularly attractive, but he was in that period. I think it had something to do with the suits, though.

As far as music goes, the angry vindictive-lyric writer always does it for me. IE Come, Wear You Down. Definitely Come.
And basically anything he did on Tango in the Night.
Although a lot must be said for the insane amounts of music he gets out of one guitar, IE Go Insane, Big Love [acoustic versions] and Here Comes the Sun.

And looks ... I've thought about this. Too much.
1 -- Slow Dancing. There will never be another.
2 -- Tango in the Night. That includes everything, Little Lies, Big Love, Seven Wonders and so on.
3 -- OOTC and the Dance era. *drool...*

As for the Rumours era afro...? *shudder*

Maybe it's because I am fairly new to the whole Lindsey-lovin' community, so I haven't been able to focus as in-depth on each different style/era/hairstyle, etc. as some of you...but from all I have heard and seen (which is quite a lot at this point) I love just about every friggen side of the man...except for Family Man...

And I think he is perennially hot. Even now. And I'm not even into older guys like that.

Keep it that way Nico. I like your thoughts when you focus on his music. And that was the question. Do you like his softer or his harder musical side. Mine is when he freaks out totally. I don't like any of the TITN-stuff except the titlesong. Still i'm a major fan and I love both sides. A lot! But his freaking out on Johnny Stew, MLJones, Loving Cup, Play In The Rain, Given Thing, Come, My little demon, Twist of Fate, Gift of Screws, Murrow, The ledge That's enough For Me WMYTYTO etc etc, really gets me going everytime. But Shut Us down brought me in tears so I dunno if I really can split those sides......

Focussing on his looks may be fun for some of us...but it gets so boring......

I like the Buckingham Nicks, FM-FM, Rumours, Tango, OOTC, Dance, best, which translates to the more aucoustic, mainstream pop-rock aspect of Lindsey I guess.

Lindsey is good on:

Fleetwood Mac
Rumors
Mirage
Law and Order
Out Of The Cradle
The Dance
Parts of Say You Will.

Bad Linsdey:
Tango In The Night
Go Insane (Except for the actually track Go Insane)

I liked the rocker Lindsey. Although, I liked when he simplified all of that Big Love, Go Insane, and Trouble. I also hated Eyes of The World on Mirage, but LOVED to the point of being my super uber mega favorite song, The Live in Boston Version. Usually any artist who can un 80'sify songs is good in my book.

it depends on what i feel like that day

today i think i like experimentally quiet lindsey. but it's raining outside and i'm feeling kinda crummy, so that's probably why.

tomorrow i may be in a wacky lindsey mood. i love it all. even oh diane, which i have hated since the dawn of my mac loving time. it got me. lindsey wins. i lose.
