Post Jet Blue Emergency Landing in LA

A flight scheduled for NYC had a malfunction in the front landing gear that was noticed, I think, about 3 hours into the flight. They flew around for about 2-3 hours to burn fuel before landing at LAX, successfully and without incident about 30 minutes ago. It was shown live on Headline news. That was one awesome pilot....

Me, too. I'm not a big fan of flying anyway because something ALWAYS goes wrong on my flight....so I was watching this, on my knees, praying for these people.

I am so glad they landed safely. I hate flying so much; I usually try to knock myself out in flight.

The footage showed and almost completely perpendicular angle of the front wheels... scary!

The pilot did a beautiful job of landing that plane. I'm glad everyone is okay.

I remember that DC-10 that tried to land in Sioux City Iowa back in 89 and how it tumbled end over end after it tried to land. I realize that what happened to the DC-10 was much more serious, but I couldnt help thinking bakc ot that. I'm glad it landed safely.

You know, I never got on a plane till I was 26. I was scared as hell before I did, but knock on wood, I've never had a problem since
