Yeah, but why? You already had those on the "Mirage" & "Tango" albums, respectively. Why do things need to be on multiple CDs? Do people play four CDs simultaneously around the house?

I agree about "Stand Back." However, it would have been great to hear alternate takes/mixes of "Hold Me" and "Seven Wonders." It would have been even better if they had included the ever elusive live version of "Hold Me."

And if nothing else, they missed a great marketing opportunity for people like myself who are interested in learning more about that "middle period" but can't go straight out and buy those albums on spec. Again, I'm coming from having heard the 2 CD version - but I can see the 4 CD isn't a whole lot better, anyway - but you get 1 song from KH plus one rarity from that line up, which suggests to me that I would probably like that album. There is nothing at all from FG & BT, yet with 2 albums that is the most prolific line-up other than the Rumours one. From Penguin and MTM you get one Christine song - I already like Christine so I've learned nothing there. And finally from HAHTF one Christine song and Bob's Bermuda Triangle - which itself doesn't really sell me on the album - or Bob. I know the 4 CD version has a couple more Bob tracks, but the trade off is you lose Ber Tri.

As much as it should have been more of a celebration it could also have been more of a promotion.

(PS: Before anyone suggests I would have been better off buying the albums mentioned on spec than spending money on the 2 CD set I borrowed a copy from a public library for evaluation.)

But we already have alternative takes & oddball mixes of those songs.

Elusive? We have a few dozen live versions of "Hold Me."
