Well, I saw the highlights from his start last night against the Mets, and I've come to the conclusion that he is the favorite for the N.L Cy Young award now. I know Clemens' ERA is 1.57, but Carpenter has 21 wins now, and I think he'el wind up with at least 24, plus his ERA is only 2.21. I mean, it's not like Jack Morris for Toronto in 1992 or Rick Helling for Texas whatever year it was when they both won 20 with ERA's over 4.

I think you're right. Carpenter is no Koufax (or Clemens for that matter!), but he's been great this season for the Cards, so he wins it, hands down. Too bad for Roger, if only his team could score more runs.

Hey, I'll slow it down a little bit. It's just that I was afraid to post sports stuff in here, and when I found out that there were people that enjoyed Baseball, I thought I'd start talking about it. It's the best game in the world.

I don't know the stats, I just watch their butts run around the field. JK, I do enjoy watching but there are so many games I don't watch them all.
