Default Mick F. and Sideways

I'm enjoying vacations at southern Cal: Last week in LA, where I enjoyed the Getty musuem, Warner B studios, Venice & Santa Monica (bodies!!!), Donna Summer Concert, etc. Also I was in Tijuana, Rosarito and Ensenada (this last town is really cool). Now in San Diego, actually back from Santa Barbara and Solvang.

So I visited some wineries and sites from the Sideways movie. First I stopped in Kalyra. In the movie is the place where Stephanie worked and they met her. Well I found this Mick Fleetwood autographed pic and something about a wine. Was it the wine I read at the Ledge? (It said something about him, not the band). I tooked a pic and will scan soon (sorry, I'm an old fashioned film photos guy)

BTW, tasting in Peru and other places I went always was absolutely free, it may sound ridiculous but I was really upset they charge $5 for tasting.

Nothing is free here. Did you feel like you got your $5 worth? Ever since I saw that movie I've wanted to go out there.

Glad you're having fun! I used to visit Rosarito Beach quite often when I lived in LA! And I loved going to Venice Beach too.

well I went out with no tasting, upset!

But then we went to Sanford winery and they explained us. $5 for tasting all different wines (one per type), but it's free to taste just one glass of one type. So i tried the Pinot Noir and liked it. I actually fan of Argentina wines, but this was good anyway (never tasted a Pinot before).

Just visited those 2 wineries. It was enough.
