Oh I get it! If you want people to get the jist of your curseword, you can partially spell it out. Otherwise the filter filters! That mystery solved, I think I shall go have a bowl of soup.

Me too, though I don't know why that wasn't said to start with.

I wasn't going to open this topic at all because I thought the header was leading to a thread about gypsy curses or menstruation!

I've never been much for eating cake, so far be it from me to tell anyone else they should have a piece.

As for the rest, Towie... I just felt a reminder was in order, that everyone agreed to follow the Ledge guidelines when they signed up. The moderators aren't here to haggle about the hows and the whys of the rules, we're here to see that they're followed.

Pardon my French, but this is crap.

If you don't like the occasional curse word now and then, tune it out. We're all adults here (well, most of us.)

Mari · #73 09-02-2005, 05:34 AM

Why not add one board where you can use all your f-words, talk about sex and allll those other things that might be offensive to some people? With the warning to enter at your own risk?
Many forums of this size have one. You can simply refer people to that board if they act out of line, even move posts over there and keep the other boards 'clean' so you will.

It's a simple solution.

And about f-words etcetera, I'll just use Dutch cuss words instead, so only Dutch readers will understand. Who won't be offended by it because our culture's kind of different towards that

Feel free to use some as well:

- kut
- klote
- gotverdomme
- kutwijf
- lul
- schijt
...
