I'm not sure. I never share where I live on the internet, besides LA. Notice how I share an inordinate amount of other things? I decided to draw the line at last name, city, etc. I had to stop somewhere because I really do overdo everything that I do.

I got some of that, too, but didn't really know what it meant. I suspect most of the kids saying it didn't know, either.
I suspect the same.

That's probably smart - I share WAAAAY too much and I know I do - luckily it hasn't bitten me in the ass *yet*

I'm sorry to hear that, but it sounds like you were smart to end things.

It's extremely difficult to find something balanced. Where you both want to be with each other, and yet you allow each other to have space, too.

Both things are important... togetherness/quality-time, as well as having some "breathing room."

I learned my lesson when a guy I was getting to know via the internet, and whom I had told where I work, called me there... pretending to be a friend of his, and asking me if I was interested in his "friend" and wanted to know why I wouldn't sleep with him.

He called there a few other times looking for me, too, and continued to hound me online for quite a while.

Thank God he moved out of state (per a friend of mine who was acquainted with the guy) before I ended up on the evening news.

My word, I can understand you guys might not be attracted to women, but I fail to see the yuckiness of them. They're lovely. When you find the right ones, of course.

I don't think women are yucky. Far from it!
There are many women who are actually so breathtaking, that MY heart skips a beat when I see them.

But kissing a woman? Sorry, but it didn't do a thing for me, and the mere idea turns me off now.

Bobbie Jo... wherever you are, sweetie, ya turned me gay!

Part of the problem was I just don't want a husband. I'm someone who *needs* a lot of alone time, and he couldn't deal with that. I think what I'm looking for is someone who's a great friend that I get along with, am attracted to, and can have great, fun, lighthearted sex with. And not have him complain if I need a little personal space every few days.

A happy medium in between a trick and an LTR.

Should I go into greater detail for you? I love women. But, the physical thing is just not working for me.

Oh, that must have been scary. I'm so sorry that happened to you, and so glad that nothing else happened and that you're okay!

I guess this means you like men? I can't tell. Spell it out for me some more.

THAT is extremely hard to find.

Then again, it always seems like the one thing we're most looking for, is the one thing we have the most difficult time finding. Meanwhile, other people seem to fall right into those kinds of relationships!

I always seemed to find guys who either wanted to be married YESTERDAY, or who only wanted to get their rocks off. When what I wanted, was something in between.
And me, being the stubborn Italian/Englishman that I am, refused to settle for one extreme or the other.

Thanks, sweetie.

It could have been MUCH worse, so I lucked out that my wakeup call wasn't too harsh. Just enough to teach me to be more selective about who I give out my personal information to. Of course, I probably still give out a little too much info.

Funny thing is, AFTER it happened, several guys from around here who knew him, told me to stay away from him, that he was unbalanced (he must have been, if he wanted to sleep with me! ). Where were these guys BEFORE I started getting to know him!

Well, I'm probably really up sh*t creek then, because I've also decided that I'm not dating anymore atheists/agnostics, or Libertarians. How's that for thinning the herd?

Well, some may disagree, but I see absolutely nothing wrong with being selective when dating.
