Cameras

I was just emaling a photography friend of mine and was saying that I wanted to get a new digital. I checked the camera review out on that link that you posted and it did not get a good review.

You want a camera that has a fast shutter speed. I think that you have to look at one that has some manual settings so that they can be set for something like a concert. You also want one with a good optical zoom.3 times is OK but right now I want something that is at least 4 times.

I will check out some of my mags and see if I can get some advice for you.

Good luck.

Thanks so much!! I really like this camera, but I am going to keep looking around.

I just got a Canon PowerShot A 95. I love all the different features. Takes clean, clear and sharp pictures. I have been printing off 8X10s, that look great. I have 35mm camers, such as a Pentax and Nikon. So it takes lots to impress me.
Check out www.cnet.com and PC Magazine on line for reviews.

Yep, I've been on CNET lately and went to Best Buy yesterday. I still am liking the Sony Cyber Shot, but I'm also thinking about the higher mega-pixel plus higher than 3x zoom. I found a camera that has video capability and while you are taking video, you can take a photo!! That's awesome! When I went to see Stevie, I debated whether I should have taken video or a photo (should have taken video, since my mom got bumped ) and that would have been an excellent feature to have.

Here it is...the Canon S2 IS has MovieSnap which takes video AND photos at the same time!
