Coolness. PJ fans!! Let me not get into how much her music has changed my life. What brilliance. I love everything by her. With Polly I'm always left wanting more. She is that great. No one should be so blessed.

Ugh - how about that new Shania Twain song? (How about every Shania song?) Her newest is I Ain't No Quitter. I so wish she was.
And completely off-topic... Has anyone seen the video for Neighbourhood #3 by The Arcade Fire??? Coolest video I have seen in eons. I was just walking through the room and it was on, and I stopped and literally stood there going, what the heck is this?? Very cool. Check it out.

"Kiss" by Prince. I change the radio station whenever it comes on. It has no melody, and I hate it when he does the puckering and kissing sounds. The opposite of sexy!
"Smooth" by Santana. Probably the most overplayed song in the history of music. If the next time I hear it is when I am 80, it will still be too soon.

I was thinking you might have meant Black Velvet by Alannah Myles, but her voice isn't whiny sounding to me...it's very raspy and low. I like that song too.
