Best moments of Live 8

It was wild. One of the best shows of my life. Saw her a couple more times through the years, too - once from VERY far back, and it was still amazing. She is a true professional and pure talent. As she proved yesterday at Live 8, she never gives a half-assed performance. There's a reason she is still as huge as she is 20 years later....

I would definitely go see her. Unfortunately, she has never played here. So on top of the expensive tix, I'd probably end up flying to Vegas or somewhere to see her. But hey, I've done it for Stevie, so...

I give him HUGE props for going out and playing. And I think he sounds great. The guy's a freaking genius.
I really enjoyed his set, even though it was not technically perfect.

Oh, I hope it didn't look like I hated it! I wrote it at the beginning, because it was my highlight (beside Pink Floyd) of Live 8! And he is a genius!

Okay then, it's all good.

Madonna was the best live show I ever saw. I saw her a year ago almost to the day and it was amazing. She may not be my favorite person, but she knows how to perform. Her concert was so on and I never wanted to pee or get a drink...I just wanted to watch HER.

I can't wait to see her Live8 performance.

In order:

Pink Floyd
Annie Lennox
Rem - Everybody Hurts
Sgt. Pepper
Dido, Youssou'n Dour- Seven Seconds
Francesco De Gregori
Dave Matthews Band (I finally saw them)
Elton John - Saturday Night's alright
Stereophonics
The Who
Faithless
The Cure
Coldplay, Richard Ashcroft - Bittersweet Simphony

I haven't been able to see Madonna yet, but right now I'm watching a readbroadcast so I'm hopeful to watch her and Roxy Music in Berlin.

They've played around 4:00, I think. About the songs, I've heard:
Wild Boys
Reach Up For The Sunrise
Save a Prayer

And I think there was another one.

I saw Ordinary World through Wild boys, but Missed Sunrise! Blergh!! I have it on global feed now. You can go to AOL and find individual videos of some people from yesterday.
