so if they were pessimistic they had good reason to be.

And can I add, that to the people who say they'd rahter see Stevie record a new album then do her Rhiannon project, I think it's basically the same thing. Just with the Rhiannon thing, she's killing two birds with one stone.

I am going to be optimistic and say a new Stevie album in 2006, Rhiannon project finshed, and a new Fleetwood Mac album to tour with in 2007/2008

I wouldnt mind if Fleetwood Mac took a page from The Eagles (cant believe i wrote those words!) and maybe go into the studio for few months, then tour without a new album and then go back to the studio to finish the album now Fleetwood Mac would differ from The Eagles in they'd actually make the album.

As far as Stevie low keyed attitude during the SYW tour my feeling is that there were a multitude of reasons she acted this way. From the very few interviews she did (which in it's self says something) to her presents on stage I think she made a conscious effort to allow Lindsey to shine. Not to say his performance can't stand alone no far from it, its just that I think she really wanted it to be LINDSEY'S day, and this was her way giving her blessing. The horrid cardigan was another concession in the same spirit. Why Lindsey felt she needed to be "more casual" why would he care, well that's a whole other discussion. I feel as though Stevie didn't have anything to prove anymore and things like dresses and stage time just weren't as important to her. There has been much discussion how she just wasn't feeling well during a good portion of the first leg of the tour and perhaps that’s another reason her stage presents was low key. I agree that Stevie is way more outgoing as a solo act and always has been I think she took it down several knotches for SYW. My avatar is proof she did perk up and show what mamma gave her.I think it wouldn't be too far off however if Stevie chose ROCK and ROLL to cover on her solo tour as a reference to the SYW Stevie. Been along time since I Rock and Rolled….hmmmmm I know I have mentioned this before but Stevie is HOT HOT HOT HOT on this tour geezey petes SMOKIN' ... I think she lost a bit of weight and has no real pressure to promote anything and just feels SEXY and I LOVE IT!!!! ![]() Last edited by paperflowers; 07-03-2005 at 01:58 AM.. |
