I don't remember that tram, but that's where I spent Sr. Week. long time ago.

And i'm sure it was much nicer than it is now--the people there are pretty foul. We didn't have a senior week (God forbid we should of had fun) but we did have a senior cut day. Of course, it was the most chilly and oppresive day in Ocean City

No, Widwood was scuzzy back then, too.

I loved the rides at Ocean City. And the AC piers. Broke my heart when they tore down to build that crapfreight Ocean One.

Ocean City is still fairly clean but i've never cared much for Wildwood. There are still rides in AC but a few years back, a few people died on one of the piers (I forget what they were on) and I think they closed down some things.

Do you know i've never been to Lucy (the elephant)? I think it must be illegal to live here and not have ever been there. Ahh...someday, perhaps.

She wore a black feathered hat but I don't think it was a top hat? I'm getting my tours confused now.

She's outside this weekend, though.

We used to go the Boardwalk a LOT when I was a kid, visiting family in Philly. I remember the Planter's Peanuts dude, and still have the chalk drawings that were done of me and my bro.

I remember going through some haunted house ride and my uncle saying, "I've been more scared going through the Shell car wash than that ride!"

I thought it was a tophat? Ahh...can't remember. The last time I recall seeing one on her is the picture with Michelle Branch.

I don't know, I haven't seen her since Vegas.

That's what I immediately thought of too. But she wasn't on stage, that was just for a photo shoot.

PBS ran a doc on shores a few weeks ago & Lucy was featured.
Lucy is my friend Porky's favorite place on earth. And she is obsessed with the Mummers.
